When we lit the Mysuru Bannimantap for Dasara during the dispute.

We solved the Bannimantapa lighting issues

In the Heart of Mysuru city, Bannimantapa has a significant history and cultural importance. Bannimantapa is a place of traditional music, these are the hub of celebration. during the time of Dasara, the streets and buildings are lighting up which gives a mesmerizing sight for the eyes of visitors, and also Bannimantapa also stands with color lighting to attract visitors and reflect the richness of heritage Mysuru.

In Bannimantapa, the big procession known as the “Jumbo Savari” is one of the highlights of Dasara. A majestic march of beautifully dressed elephants leads the walk, which is also joined by a number of cultural teams, musicians, and dancers. The elephants quietly move through the streets while wearing vibrant outfits and golden jewelry, stunning spectators with their elegance.

In addition to the Jumbo Savari, Bannimantapa is the site of several cultural gatherings and exhibitions. The nearby Mysuru Dasara Exhibition offers various products, from handicrafts and textiles to contemporary technologies and appliances. To learn more and participate in the celebrations, individuals from all walks of life gather here.

Beyond the celebrations, Bannimantapa has importance historically. It is thought to be the location where, during the Dasara marching, the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari was brought by the royal elephant after being blessed with holy water from the holy river Cauvery. The act is truly part of Mysuru’s cultural heritage and stands for the victory of good over evil.

Due to some regulation issues, there were clashes between the two states with regard to Kaveri Water; the dispute took many days to get resolved. When the state government declared that the celebrations of Dasara will happen in peace the organizing committee was short of time.  We at Sri Lalitha Electricals lighting rental and generator rental in Bangalore, took up the challenge to complete the lighting decor work and completed it in 6 days, we met the needs of the government in the given timeline. Usually, it will take 15 to 18 days to complete lighting to Bannimantapa. But we completed by taking the challenge to complete it in 6 days and our team did it,  We hold this determination to complete our tasks in any given situation.
